After taking down the ball on Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's corner Baldomero Hermon fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Lew Yashin quite easily take care of the ball. Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's Baldomero Hermon managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Boleslaw Slazak in the 17 minute of the game. In the 20th minute Claudio Fioravanti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hansjörg Wastl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hansjörg Wastl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dominic Salazar in the 21st minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Claudio Fioravanti in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hansjörg Wastl prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 23 minutes into the game, Jonathan Lopez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Modlau the free kick. Hansjörg Wastl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudio Fioravanti, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. 28 minutes into the match, Modlau's goal looked a bit too open when Henrique Borges came free, but Lew Yashin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Henrique Borges made a great header on Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's corner, it was just that Modlau's Lew Yashin managed to reach the ball for a save. Henrique Borges could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Lew Yashin made a huge save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Henrique Borges received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Lew Yashin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hansjörg Wastl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dominic Salazar, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. In the 59th minute, Henrique Borges left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's Edu Carvalho was substituted for Henrique Borges. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Edu Carvalho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Edu Carvalho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lew Yashin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Boleslaw Slazak fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Modlau's protests and gave Boleslaw Slazak a yellow card for diving instead. Modlau made a substitution. Damazy Jucha replaced Jarmo Laik. After a rather tough play, Modlau's Boleslaw Slazak got a free kick in the 69th minute. Lew Yashin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edu Carvalho's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. Modlau made a substitution. Zula Sanocki replaced Toni Kroos. 82 minutes had been played when some careless play by Modlau's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Naldo Valladares was slow to take the kick. During this time Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's players had a chance to rest. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edu Carvalho in the 84th minute of play forced Modlau's goalkeeper Lew Yashin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edu Carvalho might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lew Yashin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edu Carvalho ran back to his position shaking his head. 86 minutes into the match, Modlau's goal looked a bit too open when Edu Carvalho came free, but Lew Yashin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hansjörg Wastl made an important save on a dangerous shot by Damazy Jucha in the 90th minute. Modlau's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Barry McCray in the 92nd minute. Baldomero Hermon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Lew Yashin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Modlau for a fine match.
