An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan Bittor in the 13th minute of play forced ZORZAL01's goalkeeper Gaudencio Richie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Santos Hori took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgardo Nardo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 19 minutes into the match, Howling Dawn U18's goal looked a bit too open when Edgardo Nardo came free, but Santos Hori reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 20th minute, Gerard Way left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Howling Dawn U18 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Gaudencio Richie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axl Rose in the 26th minute of the match. In the 28th match minute, Howling Dawn U18 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerard Way to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot by Uriel Lauren from long distance, 33 minutes into the match, got Gaudencio Richie's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. ZORZAL01's Gaudencio Richie proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save ZORZAL01 from getting a goal against them. 42 minutes into the match, Juan Bittor notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of ZORZAL01's Gaudencio Richie. Gaudencio Richie was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

In the 90th minute, Luisito Medero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gaudencio Richie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Astor Manilan, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. In the 96th minute of the match Howling Dawn U18 got a corner. ZORZAL01's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Uriel Lauren ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Uriel Lauren almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but ZORZAL01's Gaudencio Richie did a great save. Howling Dawn U18's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
