Ciriaco Satordi hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Karl-Heinz Rummenigge could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Delmiro Iztal made a huge save. A collision led to Club Atlético Escocia getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Narciso Sauveur hit a great ball. Memphis Grizzlies's Ron Mansfield shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 6th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Delmiro Iztal but with some difficulty. 8 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Escocia's goal looked a bit too open when Franky Van Der Elst came free, but Delmiro Iztal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 10th minute, Franky Van Der Elst fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Delmiro Iztal, passed just outside the right post. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Peter Wiltshire managed to get in a good position for a shot. Memphis Grizzlies's supporters rose to their feet, but Peter Wiltshire was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Delmiro Iztal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Delmiro Iztal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Memphis Grizzlies's Harry Johnson suffered a torn muscle in his foot after 19 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético Escocia's Lucas Quinto got a free kick in the 20th minute. 25 minutes into the match, Peter Wiltshire had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Delmiro Iztal. Club Atlético Escocia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Peter Wiltshire was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. An unexpected shot in the 30th minute by Karl-Heinz Rummenigge got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Ron Mansfield recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Delmiro Iztal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl-Heinz Rummenigge in the 33rd minute of play. A collision led to Club Atlético Escocia getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Ciriaco Satordi hit a great ball. In the 38th minute Karl-Heinz Rummenigge shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Delmiro Iztal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 41st minute, Memphis Grizzlies's Peter Wiltshire dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. The Memphis Grizzlies fans' excitement grew in the 44th match minute when Memphis Grizzlies's Peter Wiltshire looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Delmiro Iztal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl-Heinz Rummenigge in the 47th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

In the 52nd match minute, Memphis Grizzlies was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ken Blackwater to maneuver through the defense. In the 54th minute, Ron Mansfield made a precise shot to the right of Delmiro Iztal. Club Atlético Escocia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. When Ron Mansfield came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Memphis Grizzlies fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ron Mansfield couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ron Mansfield in the 58th minute of play forced Club Atlético Escocia's goalkeeper Delmiro Iztal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 64th minute Peter Wiltshire shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Delmiro Iztal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Club Atlético Escocia made a substitution. Sebastian Selatse replaced Lucas Quinto. Memphis Grizzlies made a substitution. Franz Henry replaced Peter Wiltshire. Delmiro Iztal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Franz Henry, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Gez Winship made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aquiles Lazcano in the 85th minute. Delmiro Iztal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zack Tomelty, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Franz Henry struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Delmiro Iztal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Memphis Grizzlies. In the 90th match minute, Memphis Grizzlies was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ken Blackwater to maneuver through the defense. Zack Tomelty fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Delmiro Iztal having to interfere. There was no doubt that Memphis Grizzlies were the better team. Memphis Grizzlies's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
