When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Leandro Cordarin made a kick off. After 51 played minutes Deportivo Balvanera got a freekick which was hit by Leandro Cordarin. Denis Lawrence took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leandro Cordarin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 57th match minute, Descamisados CF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ruben Iturri to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Descamisados CF's zone, Leandro Cordarin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Denis Lawrence came out of the goal and Leandro Cordarin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 61 minutes of play, Deportivo Balvanera's Eusebio Lehoi made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Denis Lawrence was left in no man's land by his defense there! Juan Pablo Sorin hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. If Jorge Gustau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 71st minute, Leandro Cordarin made a precise shot to the right of Denis Lawrence. Descamisados CF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-1. Abel Neron took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Gustau, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jose Aritza's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Denis Lawrence read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. In the 91st match minute, Descamisados CF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fausto Virila to maneuver through the defense. After 92 minutes of play, Deportivo Balvanera's Rene Restu made it 8-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Denis Lawrence was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Deportivo Balvanera had won after a very even match.
