La Gallardeta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ruben Dolfo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Felipe Flores made a kick off. A collision led to La Gallardeta getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Paulo Romelio hit a great ball. When Angelo Romo fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Municipales FC's protests and gave Angelo Romo a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of La Gallardeta booed when Municipales FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angelo Romo didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Felipe Flores had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. J.P. España showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ruben Dolfo, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute.
