Aldo Crispo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind La Gallardeta's goalkeeper Casimiro Erramun, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 21st minute, Felipe Flores hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 22 minutes into the match, Pascual Ado dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Casimiro Erramun, 1-0. Club Atlético Escocia's Delmiro Iztal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felipe Flores in the 29th minute of play. In the 36th minute, Pascual Ado ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Casimiro Erramun was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. After having played for 41 minutes, Felipe Flores managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Gallardeta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felipe Flores was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pascual Ado was the one to do the kick off. Leonides Pancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marcos Madeo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Delmiro Iztal made a huge save. In the 57th minute, Flavio Ricart hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felipe Flores in the 59th minute of play forced Club Atlético Escocia's goalkeeper Delmiro Iztal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Felipe Flores's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Delmiro Iztal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. In the 71st match minute, La Gallardeta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcos Madeo to maneuver through the defense. In the 73rd minute, Marcos Madeo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sebastian Selatse's late challenge caught a La Gallardeta's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sebastian Selatse helped the player get up and apologised. In the 81st minute, Narciso Matteo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pascual Ado in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Casimiro Erramun saved La Gallardeta from getting behind. After some careless play in the La Gallardeta defense, Facundo Nahas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Casimiro Erramun. The La Gallardeta fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Casimiro Erramun should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético Escocia's Aurelio Resto got a free kick in the 90th minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Club Atlético Escocia had won after a very even match.
