España showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Luis Cuciuffo in the 5th minute of the match. José Luis Cuciuffo took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised J.P. España. J.P. España dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. J.P. España took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Franky Van Der Elst, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Memphis Grizzlies fans' excitement grew in the 12th match minute when Memphis Grizzlies's Franky Van Der Elst looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 19th minute Memphis Grizzlies were awarded a corner. Dave Fleming went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Dave Fleming got away a dangerous shot. Despite this J.P. España quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 26thth minute of the game Franky Van Der Elst who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Municipales FC's J.P. España was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. J.P. España stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Franky Van Der Elst's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. J.P. España quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Esteve Nicholas made a kick off. José Luis Cuciuffo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but J.P. España read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Memphis Grizzlies's Franky Van Der Elst got a free kick in the 55th minute. 57 minutes into the match, Municipales FC's goal looked a bit too open when Franky Van Der Elst came free, but J.P. España reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 59th match minute, Municipales FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eugenio Costante to maneuver through the defense. J.P. España showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Franky Van Der Elst, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. 64 minutes into the match, José Luis Cuciuffo notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Municipales FC's J.P. España. J.P. España was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 67 minutes into the match, José Luis Cuciuffo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of J.P. España, 0-5. Memphis Grizzlies made a substitution. Peter Wiltshire replaced Franky Van Der Elst. Memphis Grizzlies made a substitution. Franz Henry replaced José Luis Cuciuffo. España didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Memphis Grizzlies. Dave Fleming kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Franz Henry managed to get in a good position for a shot. Memphis Grizzlies's supporters rose to their feet, but Franz Henry was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. J.P. España breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A sloppy throw-in by Eugenio Costante in the 88th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Memphis Grizzlies's Ken Blackwater. J.P. España made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peter Wiltshire in the 89th minute of play. 90 minutes into the match, Franz Henry dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of J.P. España, 0-6. When Franz Henry came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Memphis Grizzlies fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Franz Henry couldn't finish the play. Municipales FC's J.P. España proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Municipales FC from getting a goal against them. Memphis Grizzlies's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
