Seating: 2369, VIP seats: 206) Indonesia's Cakra Nyakmad started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Turgut Soyuer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Haji Sarap read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. Mansyur Khalid got a throw-in 12 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Amir Khalid. Cankut Wakabayashi made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Cakra Nyakmad sent off a good shot on target. Turkey's Cankut Wakabayashi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cakra Nyakmad in the 20th minute of play. In the 22nd minute Cakra Nyakmad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cankut Wakabayashi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cakra Nyakmad took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cankut Wakabayashi. Cankut Wakabayashi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cakra Nyakmad in the 36th minute of play forced Turkey's goalkeeper Cankut Wakabayashi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arjen Robben in the 38th minute of play forced Indonesia's goalkeeper Haji Sarap to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 40 minutes Indonesia's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Servet Sönmez who took care of the corner kick. Cankut Wakabayashi made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Hanung Sephtianda sent off a good shot on target.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Turgut Soyuer made a kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Phoenix Kante cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Cankut Wakabayashi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 58 minutes into the match, Turkey's goal looked a bit too open when Cakra Nyakmad came free, but Cankut Wakabayashi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Turkey's Zé Dos Reis was substituted for Turgut Soyuer. 70 minutes had been played when some careless play by Indonesia's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Servet Sönmez was slow to take the kick. During this time Turkey's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Servet Sönmez almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Indonesia's Haji Sarap did a great save. Haji Sarap made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aydın Tor in the 73rd minute of play. Haji Sarap made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zé Dos Reis in the 78th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Turkey's Servet Sönmez slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Haji Sarap. That made the score 2-1 after 80 minutes of play. The audience was convinced that Zé Dos Reis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Haji Sarap was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. 95 minutes into the match, Indonesia's goal looked a bit too open when Aydın Tor came free, but Haji Sarap reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
