Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Fortinducto's Aaron Rosio started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Fortinducto booed when Velez Sarsfield was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Melchor Birila didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Gartzi in the 9th minute of play forced Fortinducto's goalkeeper Robustiano Cordarrel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 11 minutes, Isaac Marcones managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Velez Sarsfield's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isaac Marcones was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Melchor Birila's late challenge caught a Fortinducto's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Melchor Birila helped the player get up and apologised. Robustiano Cordarrel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eusebio Procopio in the 17th minute. When Isaac Marcones came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Velez Sarsfield fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Isaac Marcones couldn't finish the play. Fortinducto's Robustiano Cordarrel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Gartzi in the 22nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Eusebio Procopio could shoot a difficult shot in the 24th minute, which Robustiano Cordarrel however easily saved by the left post. Uriel Raymon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aaron Rosio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Isaac Marcones kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Robustiano Cordarrel made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Eusebio Procopio sent off a good shot on target. Benedicto Orlandus kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Velez Sarsfield defense, Esteban Sugoi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Uriel Raymon. The Velez Sarsfield fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Uriel Raymon should have stopped the shot. In the 43rd minute, Velez Sarsfield's Melchor Birila seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Melchor Birila the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Velez Sarsfield protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Melchor Birila had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 44th minute, Melchor Birila hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Uriel Raymon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Raimundo Maurino's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Isaac Marcones stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Robustiano Cordarrel came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Velez Sarsfield's Eusebio Procopio. But to his dismay, Eusebio Procopio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After some careless play in the Velez Sarsfield defense, Esteban Sugoi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Uriel Raymon. The Velez Sarsfield fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Uriel Raymon should have stopped the shot. Robustiano Cordarrel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eusebio Procopio in the 65th minute of the match. Robustiano Cordarrel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isaac Marcones, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Velez Sarsfield's Uriel Raymon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aaron Rosio in the 67th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jesus Napier during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 72nd match minute, Velez Sarsfield was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jesus Napier to maneuver through the defense. Fortinducto's Bernardino Tercero got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 74th match minute, Velez Sarsfield was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Genaro Argina to maneuver through the defense. Robustiano Cordarrel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eusebio Procopio, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Genaro Argina recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Robustiano Cordarrel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Donato Bonifaco went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Isaac Marcones sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Israel Salvadore hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Fortinducto's Aaron Rosio got a free kick in the 90th minute. The Fortinducto players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Velez Sarsfield from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
