Santo Dominguez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but André Tepedino made a huge save. 26 minutes into the game, Rafa Brito cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Sebastian Rojelio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santo Dominguez in the 38th minute of play forced Fluminense di Parma's goalkeeper André Tepedino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Prudencio Romo got free with André Tepedino in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the Fluminense di Parma defense, Prudencio Romo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of André Tepedino. The Fluminense di Parma fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that André Tepedino should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Fluminense di Parma getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Thiago Teles hit a great ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rafa Brito was the one to do the kick off. Sebastian Rojelio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thiago Teles, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. After 53 played minutes Gutenberg got a freekick which was hit by Tiburcio Ovando. If Rafa Brito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Fluminense di Parma booed when Gutenberg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santo Dominguez didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 72nd minute Santo Dominguez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but André Tepedino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. But to his dismay, Braulio Etxekopar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. In the 89th minute, Braulio Etxekopar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. André Tepedino was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. After some careless play in the Fluminense di Parma defense, Braulio Etxekopar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of André Tepedino. The Fluminense di Parma fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that André Tepedino should have stopped the shot. Gutenberg walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
