The supporters of Clube Audax Metropolitano booed when Fortinducto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardino Tercero didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 12 minutes of play, Fortinducto's Aaron Rosio made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fernando Donatello was left in no man's land by his defense there! 17 minutes into the match, Alix Vance had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Robustiano Cordarrel. Fortinducto's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alix Vance was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Zeca Siqueira's late challenge caught a Fortinducto's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zeca Siqueira helped the player get up and apologised. An unexpectedly hard shot by Esteban Sugoi in the 26th minute of play forced Clube Audax Metropolitano's goalkeeper Fernando Donatello to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aaron Rosio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Fernando Donatello tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alix Vance succeeded in the game's 39th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-1. Clube Audax Metropolitano's Hugo Calderona was substituted for Miguel Fontes. Robustiano Cordarrel stood somewhat misplaced when Hugo Calderona came free in front of goal and shot 3-1 to the left of him in the 47 minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aaron Rosio to make the kick off. Robustiano Cordarrel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronaldinho Andrade, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Robustiano Cordarrel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zeca Siqueira in the 54th minute of play. Clube Audax Metropolitano's Fernando Donatello played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aaron Rosio in the 57th minute of play. Robustiano Cordarrel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan Gerber in the 60th minute of the match. Esteban Sugoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernando Donatello having to interfere. In the 97th minute, Clube Audax Metropolitano's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Aaron Rosio fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Clube Audax Metropolitano's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
