The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd match minute, PINGO PINGO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ovidio Mateus to maneuver through the defense. Fortinducto's Bernardino Tercero couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 4th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for PINGO PINGO. Vladimiro Amor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Fortinducto's Benedicto Orlandus got a free kick in the 12th minute. Robustiano Cordarrel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vladimiro Amor in the 14th minute of play. In the 18th minute, PINGO PINGO's Cornelio Fernandez dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Robustiano Cordarrel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alvaro Matei, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as PINGO PINGO's Alvaro Matei slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Robustiano Cordarrel. That made the score 2-0 after 23 minutes of play. Robustiano Cordarrel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cornelio Fernandez in the 26th minute. After a defensive mix-up in PINGO PINGO's zone, Raimundo Maurino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leonel Claris came out of the goal and Raimundo Maurino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 32 minutes into the game, PINGO PINGO's Cornelio Fernandez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Robustiano Cordarrel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. If Alvaro Matei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Daniel Mingo came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the PINGO PINGO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Mingo couldn't finish the play. Robustiano Cordarrel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vladimiro Amor in the 45th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Cornelio Fernandez made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of PINGO PINGO booed when Fortinducto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santiago Laurin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alvaro Matei took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 56th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Robustiano Cordarrel. Fortinducto's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Robustiano Cordarrel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cornelio Fernandez in the 59th minute of the match. Robustiano Cordarrel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vladimiro Amor in the 60th minute of play. After 61 minutes Fortinducto's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Alvaro Matei who took care of the corner kick. Anier Francho thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Robustiano Cordarrel, a very annoying self made goal in the 61st minute which led to 4-0. Robustiano Cordarrel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Mingo, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Robustiano Cordarrel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Mingo went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. In the 68th minute, Alvaro Matei ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Robustiano Cordarrel was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. Fortinducto's Robustiano Cordarrel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Mingo in the 72nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Mingo in the 74th minute of play forced Fortinducto's goalkeeper Robustiano Cordarrel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the PINGO PINGO defense, Esteban Sugoi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leonel Claris. The PINGO PINGO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leonel Claris should have stopped the shot. In the 83rd minute Cornelio Fernandez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robustiano Cordarrel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Sergio Rito fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored PINGO PINGO's protests and gave Sergio Rito a yellow card for diving instead. After 93 played minutes PINGO PINGO got a freekick which was hit by Sergio Rito. The audience thought a goal was coming when Esteban Sugoi got free with Leonel Claris in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. PINGO PINGO had played much better football throughout.
