Nilmar Brasil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronaldinho Maujo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Peracal FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Behe Andrada in the 15th minute. Nilmar Brasil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronaldinho Maujo, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Clapham Rovers's Cléberson Mendonça got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Peracal FC booed when Clapham Rovers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Malcolm Barkley didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 19th minute of the match Behe Andrada shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nilmar Brasil showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 22nd minute Ronaldinho Maujo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nilmar Brasil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Clapham Rovers's Rodney Watkinson in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Clapham Rovers's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Behe Andrada ran over to the corner to take the kick. Honorato Donis made a great header on Peracal FC's corner, it was just that Clapham Rovers's Nilmar Brasil managed to reach the ball for a save. 38 minutes into the match, Ronaldinho Maujo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nilmar Brasil. Clapham Rovers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ronaldinho Maujo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Cléberson Mendonça made the kick off in the second half. If Castulo Cosmen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Clapham Rovers's Nilmar Brasil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Behe Andrada in the 54th minute of play. Nicanor Rosete made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodney Watkinson in the 58th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodney Watkinson in the 58th minute of play forced Peracal FC's goalkeeper Nicanor Rosete to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ronaldinho Maujo might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nilmar Brasil. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ronaldinho Maujo ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 70th minute Ronaldinho Maujo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nilmar Brasil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 70th minute, Ronaldinho Maujo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nilmar Brasil was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. After 72 played minutes Clapham Rovers got a freekick which was hit by Gavin Sedgemore. Behe Andrada was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 73rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Nilmar Brasil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Behe Andrada in the 76th minute of play. 78 minutes into the game, Peracal FC's Behe Andrada nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nilmar Brasil made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Cléberson Mendonça managed to get in a good position for a shot. Clapham Rovers's supporters rose to their feet, but Cléberson Mendonça was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nicanor Rosete breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nilmar Brasil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronaldinho Maujo, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Nilmar Brasil stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ronaldinho Maujo's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. João Francisco Toscano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nicanor Rosete read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. Xiao Sotes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nilmar Brasil having to interfere.
