It was Dave Legzdins who took care of the corner kick. Dave Legzdins made a great header on Korona Kielce's corner, it was just that AC Milan's Nilmar Brasil managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 26thth minute of the game Chesney Summers who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AC Milan's Nilmar Brasil was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 27th match minute, AC Milan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gavin Sedgemore to maneuver through the defense. 32 minutes into the game, Korona Kielce's Agostinho Negri nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. With an all-out effort, AC Milan's Raimo Ülend threw himself towards the right post 44 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from João Francisco Toscano, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 46th minute, Justino Arixo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The AC Milan players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Korona Kielce were winning 0-5.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Agostinho Negri stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Nihat Sarıdoğan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Nilmar Brasil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
