The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After having played for 2 minutes, Martin Mutumba managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vykans Vikingar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Martin Mutumba was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 9 minutes into the match, Vykans Vikingar's goal looked a bit too open when Todd Griffiths came free, but Marcus Ekrot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vykans Vikingar's Leonardo Trancoso got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 12th minute, Heavenly Hooters's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Abdi Revis fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Lennie Rusby showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonardo Trancoso in the 15th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Todd Griffiths in the 18th minute of play forced Vykans Vikingar's goalkeeper Marcus Ekrot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcus Ekrot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brandon Wright in the 19th minute of the match. Leonardo Trancoso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Lennie Rusby made a huge save. Luo Feng Feng charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luo Feng Feng the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Vykans Vikingar booed when Heavenly Hooters was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luo Feng Feng didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcus Ekrot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Phil Naylor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jake Grayson charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Through an outstanding action, after 32 minutes, Lennie Rusby successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. If Todd Griffiths had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Marcus Ekrot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Todd Griffiths, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 39 played minutes Heavenly Hooters got a freekick which was hit by Lico Aldazabal. Heavenly Hooters's Lennie Rusby proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Heavenly Hooters from getting a goal against them. After 42 minutes Vykans Vikingar's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Marty King who took care of the corner kick. Heavenly Hooters's Marty King was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Marcus Ekrot in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Martin Mutumba made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonardo Trancoso in the 52nd minute of play forced Heavenly Hooters's goalkeeper Lennie Rusby to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mats Hermansson in the 53rd minute of play forced Heavenly Hooters's goalkeeper Lennie Rusby to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lennie Rusby made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonardo Trancoso in the 56th minute of play. If Abdi Revis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Heavenly Hooters made a substitution. Pedro Luiz de Moraes replaced Phil Naylor. After 67 played minutes Heavenly Hooters got a freekick which was hit by Jake Grayson. Lennie Rusby showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonardo Trancoso in the 68th minute of the match. In the 73rd minute, Todd Griffiths hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 76 minutes, Isac Vornicu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Heavenly Hooters and the Vykans Vikingar players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Heavenly Hooters's Isac Vornicu got a free kick in the 77th minute. Heavenly Hooters made a substitution. Adrian Collier replaced Richárd Bódog. Heavenly Hooters's Adrian Moss was substituted for Ross Clark. Isac Vornicu kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Marty King could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Marcus Ekrot made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Luiz de Moraes in the 83rd minute of play forced Vykans Vikingar's goalkeeper Marcus Ekrot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Martin Mutumba in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lennie Rusby saved Heavenly Hooters from getting behind. With a little luck, Vykans Vikingar's Marcus Ekrot got control of the ball when Jake Grayson tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 95th minute Leonardo Trancoso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lennie Rusby saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Vykans Vikingar had played much better football throughout.
