Garanhão do SUL's Ignatius Casasola played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcin Andrychowski in the 14th minute of play. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind KM Efektowni's goalkeeper Steven Wadham, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Marcin Andrychowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jan Cizeski kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. In the 27th minute, KM Efektowni's Borys Raflewski seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Borys Raflewski the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of KM Efektowni protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Borys Raflewski had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After a rather tough play, KM Efektowni's Borys Raflewski got a free kick in the 27th minute. 31 minutes into the match, KM Efektowni's goal looked a bit too open when Salvador Lousada came free, but Steven Wadham reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 31 minutes into the match, Salvador Lousada had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Steven Wadham. Ignatius Casasola was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Pawel Kornecki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 47th match minute, Garanhão do SUL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aloísio Garcez to maneuver through the defense. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
Steven Wadham made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Akis Kefallinos sent off a good shot on target. Edgar Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Steven Wadham having to interfere. In the 55th minute Edgar Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Steven Wadham saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. KM Efektowni's Steven Wadham played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amado Vigário in the 87th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in KM Efektowni's zone, Akis Kefallinos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Steven Wadham came out of the goal and Akis Kefallinos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
