In the 12th minute, Duarte Mineiro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The COURO COME FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. 15 minutes into the game, Jataiense Futebol Clube's Nino Maldini nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. José Maria Pontes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. 18 minutes into the game, Gualter Gulak cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. José Maria Pontes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Luizão Pesquera fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jataiense Futebol Clube's protests and gave Luizão Pesquera a yellow card for diving instead. Luizão Pesquera kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. COURO COME FC's José Maria Pontes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nino Maldini in the 29th minute of play. Hélio Furtado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Thiago Paraibano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jataiense Futebol Clube were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
