In the 16th minute 杨攀 Zaar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabiano Lima saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 19 minutes into the match, AVAÍ F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Jiang Bang Li came free, but Fabiano Lima reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Ronaldinho Brito fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AVAÍ F.C.'s protests and gave Ronaldinho Brito a yellow card for diving instead. In the 28th minute, Vicente Mota got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 32 minutes into the game, Magos da Bola FC's Vicente Mota nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fabiano Lima made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Augusto Penha hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. After 37 played minutes, Magos da Bola FC's Vicente Mota shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Fabiano Lima came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Magos da Bola FC reached it. With a little luck, Magos da Bola FC's Kayhan Hicran got control of the ball when Gabriel Poveda tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 46 played minutes AVAÍ F.C. got a freekick which was hit by André Luiz Pinheiro. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Fabiano Lima came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Magos da Bola FC's Jiang Bang Li. But to his dismay, Jiang Bang Li quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind AVAÍ F.C.'s goalkeeper Fabiano Lima, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 杨攀 Zaar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Fabiano Lima made a huge save. Fabiano Lima showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jiang Bang Li, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Jiang Bang Li managed to get in a good position for a shot. Magos da Bola FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jiang Bang Li was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabiano Lima breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. AVAÍ F.C.'s Joaquim Ceresso was substituted for Juan Bittencourt. The supporters of Magos da Bola FC booed when AVAÍ F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joaquim Ceresso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fabiano Lima made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zé Carlos Munhoz in the 66th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Poveda in the 77th minute of play forced Magos da Bola FC's goalkeeper Kayhan Hicran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Magos da Bola FC getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Basílio Monteiro hit a great ball. Augusto Penha took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 79th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Kayhan Hicran. Magos da Bola FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Jiang Bang Li received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Fabiano Lima tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 85th minute Gabriel Poveda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kayhan Hicran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. AVAÍ F.C.'s Fabiano Lima played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jiang Bang Li in the 93rd minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Magos da Bola FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
