Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Marcus Diniz made the kick off which started today's match. 3 minutes into the game, Umberto Peres recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Christian Herbruger. Umberto Peres showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. If Marcus Diniz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Carta Vieja F.C.'s Christian Herbruger proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Carta Vieja F.C. from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Carta Vieja F.C.'s Sebastián Villalobos got a free kick in the 6th minute. With a little luck, Carta Vieja F.C.'s Christian Herbruger got control of the ball when Marcus Diniz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Christian Herbruger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcus Diniz in the 14th minute of the match. Dênis Faria recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 17th minute, Marcus Diniz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Goiás Esporte Clube fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Marcus Diniz's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 20thth minute, Christian Herbruger skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Marcus Diniz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Christian Herbruger made a huge save. In the 25th minute Dênis Faria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Herbruger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Marcus Diniz came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Goiás Esporte Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcus Diniz couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dênis Faria got free with Christian Herbruger in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 32nd minute, Sebastián Villalobos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Umberto Peres was extremely unlucky when he, in the 33rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The supporters of Goiás Esporte Clube booed when Carta Vieja F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Gonzalez didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Marcus Diniz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Christian Herbruger made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Marcus Diniz sent off a good shot on target. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 7-0.

When Goiás Esporte Clube's Marcus Diniz in the 51st minute got a chance for a shot 51st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Carta Vieja F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. Christian Herbruger didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Umberto Peres went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 9-0 was the resulting score. When the match clock showed 61 minutes, the score became 10-0 when Marcus Diniz sped through Carta Vieja F.C.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Christian Herbruger. In the 66th minute, Dênis Faria got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Carta Vieja F.C.'s zone, Dênis Faria stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christian Herbruger came out of the goal and Dênis Faria tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 73 minutes, Marcus Diniz made it 12-0 with a short kick to the right side. Carta Vieja F.C.'s Christian Herbruger tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Umberto Peres took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Christian Herbruger. Christian Herbruger dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 13-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcus Diniz in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Christian Herbruger prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 86 minutes, the score became 14-0 when Marcus Diniz sped through Carta Vieja F.C.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Christian Herbruger. The Goiás Esporte Clube fans' excitement grew in the 92nd match minute when Goiás Esporte Clube's Marcus Diniz looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 15-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Goiás Esporte Clube had played much better football throughout.
