Gabriel Poveda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, AVAÍ F.C.'s Juan Bittencourt got a free kick in the 12th minute. In the 15th minute, Gabriel Poveda made a precise shot to the right of Lisandër Korabi. AC Milan's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Ronaldinho Brito kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Igor Bohn made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Arbër Vangjeli sent off a good shot on target. In the 24th minute, Gabriel Poveda left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AVAÍ F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Lisandër Korabi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Bittencourt in the 28th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mateus Alves in the 30th minute of play forced AC Milan's goalkeeper Lisandër Korabi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. André Luiz Pinheiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 33 minutes into the game, AVAÍ F.C.'s André Luiz Pinheiro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lisandër Korabi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Lisandër Korabi came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by AVAÍ F.C.'s Mateus Alves. But to his dismay, Mateus Alves quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. In the 39th minute, Gabriel Poveda left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AVAÍ F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. Juan Bittencourt took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lisandër Korabi. Lisandër Korabi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-7. After the first half AVAÍ F.C. were leading 0-8. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Santi Kuci made the kick off in the second half. Aírton Xavier's late challenge caught a AC Milan's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aírton Xavier helped the player get up and apologised. In the 51st match minute, AVAÍ F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aírton Xavier to maneuver through the defense. When AVAÍ F.C.'s Gabriel Poveda in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye AC Milan's goalie prevented a goal. 56 minutes into the game, Gabriel Poveda lined in a short shot 0-9 behind a frustrated Lisandër Korabi. AVAÍ F.C. made a substitution. AC Milan's Mondi Mano was substituted for Mendi Abeshi. In the 66th match minute, AVAÍ F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gláuber Meirelles to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Gabriel Poveda kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Lisandër Korabi. That made the score 0-12 in the 73 minute of play. Lisandër Korabi didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 76th minute, which inside left pole to 0-13. After 81 minutes, Gabriel Poveda made it 0-14 with a short kick to the right side. After 88 minutes of play, AVAÍ F.C.'s Gabriel Poveda made it 0-16 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lisandër Korabi was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 91st minute, Gabriel Poveda got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 94 minutes, Gláuber Meirelles managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AVAÍ F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Gláuber Meirelles was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gabriel Poveda received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Lisandër Korabi came out and tried to block the shot, but Gabriel Poveda slotted it home off the left post making it 0-17 in the 96th minute. AVAÍ F.C. played a much better game than AC Milan and deserved their victory. The AC Milan players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
