Marcus Diniz started the match with the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mike Tyson during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 4 played minutes Goiás Esporte Clube got a freekick which was hit by Mike Tyson. Ivan Enceanu made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Dênis Faria sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 9 minutes, Valer Luncaniță managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sepsiszentgyörgy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Valer Luncaniță was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 12th minute Dênis Faria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivan Enceanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Natanael Paraense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valer Luncaniță, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ivan Enceanu made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Dênis Faria sent off a good shot on target. After 23 minutes of play, Goiás Esporte Clube's Dênis Faria made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ivan Enceanu was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 30th minute Marcus Diniz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivan Enceanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ivan Enceanu didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Goiás Esporte Clube's Marcus Diniz shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Ivan Enceanu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marcus Diniz went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Umberto Peres kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. In the 44th minute, Marcus Diniz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 47 played minutes Sepsiszentgyörgy got a freekick which was hit by Stelian Gârniceanu. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The wind increased when Manole Iftode made the kick off in the second half. Goiás Esporte Clube's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Valdir Neves in the 55th minute. Valdir Neves struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Ivan Enceanu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Goiás Esporte Clube. In the 61stth minute of the game Marcus Diniz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sepsiszentgyörgy's Ivan Enceanu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Umberto Peres in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ivan Enceanu saved Sepsiszentgyörgy from getting behind. Umberto Peres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivan Enceanu having to interfere. In the 76th match minute, Sepsiszentgyörgy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valer Luncaniță to maneuver through the defense. Valer Luncaniță kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. The supporters of Goiás Esporte Clube booed when Sepsiszentgyörgy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marian Manolescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcus Diniz struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Ivan Enceanu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Goiás Esporte Clube. The Goiás Esporte Clube fans' excitement grew in the 82nd match minute when Goiás Esporte Clube's Umberto Peres looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 7-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 85 minutes into the match, Marcus Diniz notched a goal, 8-0, to the right of Sepsiszentgyörgy's Ivan Enceanu. Ivan Enceanu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 88th minute, Umberto Peres left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Goiás Esporte Clube fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 9-0. Umberto Peres scored 10-0 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ivan Enceanu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Giovanni da Rocha kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Sepsiszentgyörgy's Ernest Trică shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 97th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Natanael Paraense but with some difficulty.
