After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Traian Balaban managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Buzău's supporters rose to their feet, but Traian Balaban was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hickey Dunne breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 3-0 became the score in the 24th minute when Avram Elenescu elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Hickey Dunne made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leonard Aanuţei in the 29th minute. Prishtina FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 31st minute, when Emil Strugure scored to the left of an out of position Hickey Dunne, making the score, 4-0. 38 minutes into the match, Avram Elenescu notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Prishtina FC's Hickey Dunne. Hickey Dunne was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The wind increased when Avram Elenescu made the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Prishtina FC defense, Vintilă Stoicea kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hickey Dunne. The Prishtina FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hickey Dunne should have stopped the shot. Hickey Dunne didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Avram Elenescu went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score.
