With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristiano Hagi in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hickey Dunne saved Prishtina FC from getting behind. After 29 played minutes Prishtina FC got a freekick which was hit by Tosun Manjani. Hickey Dunne showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristiano Hagi, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Hickey Dunne showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yiğit Özdoğru in the 36th minute of the match. In the 42nd match minute, Galatasaray SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arsen Ugolnikov to maneuver through the defense. Prishtina FC's Daniel van Zwieten couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Galatasaray SK. 45 minutes into the match, Prishtina FC's goal looked a bit too open when Yiğit Özdoğru came free, but Hickey Dunne reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Donato Conrao to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Prishtina FC's goalkeeper Hickey Dunne had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eric Oltean. 58 minutes into the match, Eric Oltean had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hickey Dunne. Prishtina FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eric Oltean was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Lajos Salamon kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Latif Al Fakir showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tião Donato, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Tosun Manjani scored 1-1 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Latif Al Fakir, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the Prishtina FC defense, Eric Oltean kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hickey Dunne. The Prishtina FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hickey Dunne should have stopped the shot. Hickey Dunne made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Eric Oltean sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Prishtina FC's Hickey Dunne got control of the ball when Anders Målare tried to sneak it across the goal line. 92 minutes into the game, Cristiano Hagi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Hickey Dunne was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Galatasaray SK supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Galatasaray SK would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
