Andreas Schjelderup made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 23rdth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Jean-Philippe Al Abdullah would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Román Riquelme took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Andreas Hansen. Andreas Hansen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Andreas Schjelderup received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Jean-Philippe Al Abdullah tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Andreas Hansen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eriberto Miranda in the 33rd minute of the match. In the 36th minute, FC Nordsjælland's Sindre Walle dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. FC Nordsjælland's Andreas Hansen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Román Riquelme in the 39th minute of play. When Svenåge Ellefsen fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Nordsjælland's protests and gave Svenåge Ellefsen a yellow card for diving instead. In the 43rd minute, Svenåge Ellefsen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jean-Philippe Al Abdullah showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sindre Walle, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sindre Walle in the 47th minute of play forced Inter Miami CF's goalkeeper Jean-Philippe Al Abdullah to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tonico Tinoco to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, one of Inter Miami CF:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. He was immediately shown a red card. Andreas Hansen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eriberto Miranda in the 63rd minute of the match. FC Nordsjælland's Andreas Hansen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save FC Nordsjælland from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mads Hansen in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jean-Philippe Al Abdullah prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Eriberto Miranda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 74thth minute of the game Sindre Walle who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Inter Miami CF's Jean-Philippe Al Abdullah was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Andreas Hansen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eriberto Miranda, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. A well done corner resulted in Eriberto Miranda drilling the ball in to score 2-2 behind FC Nordsjælland's goalkeeper. When Mads Hansen came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the FC Nordsjælland fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mads Hansen couldn't finish the play. Jean-Philippe Al Abdullah didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when FC Nordsjælland's Sindre Walle shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-2 in the ordered_time% minute. Jean-Philippe Al Abdullah showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mads Hansen in the 86th minute of the match. Jean-Philippe Al Abdullah took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeppe Tverskov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 93 minutes into the match, Inter Miami CF's goal looked a bit too open when Sindre Walle came free, but Jean-Philippe Al Abdullah reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mads Hansen struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Jean-Philippe Al Abdullah didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Nordsjælland.
