Lionel Paly made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Belo Alvarez in the 9th minute of play. Lionel Paly showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erlantz Bermejo, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. A.D. Alcorcón's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Nereo Acosta in the 15th minute. A.D. Alcorcón's Nereo Acosta was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Lionel Paly in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 16 minutes into the match, FC Wil 1900's goal looked a bit too open when Erlantz Bermejo came free, but Lionel Paly reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, A.D. Alcorcón's goalkeeper Maurino Serena had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pirmin Jäggi. In the 24thth minute of the game Belo Alvarez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Wil 1900's Lionel Paly was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 26th minute of the match, Téo Rosa tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Maurino Serena saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Maurino Serena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Téo Rosa in the 27th minute of play. Lionel Paly showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erlantz Bermejo, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. In the 35th minute A.D. Alcorcón were awarded a corner. Nereo Acosta went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led A.D. Alcorcón's Natxo Cacheres to fire away a dangerous shot which Lionel Paly despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Maurino Serena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Téo Rosa in the 41st minute of the match. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Wil 1900's goalkeeper Lionel Paly, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A.D. Alcorcón's Maurino Serena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Téo Rosa in the 43rd minute of play. Belo Alvarez struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Lionel Paly didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for A.D. Alcorcón. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Belo Alvarez charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Belo Alvarez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 52nd minute, Belo Alvarez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Maurino Serena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pirmin Jäggi, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. In the 56th minute, A.D. Alcorcón's Belo Alvarez dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-1. A.D. Alcorcón's Laurin Mangas was substituted for Nereo Acosta. The audience was convinced that Erlantz Bermejo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lionel Paly was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. The corner ended in Emmanuel Otero almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FC Wil 1900's Lionel Paly did a great save. Lionel Paly stood somewhat misplaced when Emmanuel Otero came free in front of goal and shot 0-2 to the left of him in the 76 minute. After having played for 80 minutes, Pirmin Jäggi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alcorcón's Maurino Serena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Téo Rosa in the 84th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Esteban Vadillos in the 88th minute of play forced FC Wil 1900's goalkeeper Lionel Paly to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 89th minute Emery Heller shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maurino Serena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alcorcón supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing A.D. Alcorcón would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
