Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Grabiel Escorcia ran back to his position shaking his head. Grabiel Escorcia took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Desiderio Lauaxeta. Desiderio Lauaxeta dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. In the 84th minute, Nacional's Grabiel Escorcia ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Desiderio Lauaxeta. Desiderio Lauaxeta yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-6. Joseph Gayoso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Tigre supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Nacional's performance. The match ended with a win for Nacional.
