Hickey Dunne was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Hickey Dunne showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tonico Tinoco, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Esat Naum in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jean-Philippe Al Abdullah saved Inter Miami CF from getting behind. When Prishtina FC's Donato Conrao in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Inter Miami CF's goalie prevented a goal. In the 13th minute Prishtina FC were awarded a corner. Ersan Genç went to the cornerflag to take it. Prishtina FC's Gilvan Luz was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jean-Philippe Al Abdullah in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The Inter Miami CF fans' excitement grew in the 15th match minute when Inter Miami CF's Justo Montrel looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 24 played minutes Prishtina FC got a freekick which was hit by Xhenit Hysa. After 29 played minutes Prishtina FC got a freekick which was hit by Lajos Salamon. Hickey Dunne showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Román Riquelme, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. The referee felt a red card was in order, 32 minutes into the game, when Enrique Dracena put in a rough tackle. Inter Miami CF's Jean-Philippe Al Abdullah played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Esat Naum in the 36th minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, Prishtina FC's goal looked a bit too open when Justo Montrel came free, but Hickey Dunne reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hickey Dunne made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tonico Tinoco in the 39th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tonico Tinoco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Hickey Dunne made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tonico Tinoco in the 56th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Inter Miami CF's zone, Tosun Manjani stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jean-Philippe Al Abdullah came out of the goal and Tosun Manjani tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 58th minute, Eli Nutil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jean-Philippe Al Abdullah showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tião Donato, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eriberto Miranda in the 68th minute of play forced Prishtina FC's goalkeeper Hickey Dunne to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Román Riquelme could shoot a difficult shot in the 70th minute, which Hickey Dunne however easily saved by the left post. After 75 played minutes Prishtina FC got a freekick which was hit by Ersan Genç. The supporters of Inter Miami CF booed when Prishtina FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ersan Genç didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hickey Dunne took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eriberto Miranda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hickey Dunne showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tonico Tinoco, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Tosun Manjani managed to get in a good position for a shot. Prishtina FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tosun Manjani was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The tension between the Prishtina FC and the Inter Miami CF players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 83 played minutes Prishtina FC got a freekick which was hit by Xhenit Hysa. Jean-Philippe Al Abdullah showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lilo Berberi in the 85th minute of the match. 88 minutes into the game, Tião Donato cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Jean-Philippe Al Abdullah was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Lilo Berberi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 93rd match minute, Prishtina FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patriot Hysi to maneuver through the defense. Hickey Dunne showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eriberto Miranda, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. In the 95th minute, Donato Conrao hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Prishtina FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Inter Miami CF were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
