Thomas Müller might have been able to make a better finish in the 3rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Andreas Hansen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Thomas Müller ran back to his position shaking his head. Andreas Hansen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from La Rat in the 4th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by La Rat in the 6th minute of play forced FC Nordsjælland's goalkeeper Andreas Hansen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alemannia Aachen were awarded a corner in the 7th minute after FC Nordsjælland's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mateusz Rydel took the corner. The corner ended in Mateusz Rydel almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FC Nordsjælland's Andreas Hansen did a great save. 9 minutes into the match, La Rat had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Andreas Hansen. FC Nordsjælland's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that La Rat was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Andreas Hansen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thomas Müller, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alemannia Aachen's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mateusz Rydel in the 18th minute. A nice corner shot did that Mateusz Rydel got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Andreas Hansen quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. La Rat took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Andreas Hansen. Andreas Hansen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. In the 25th minute, La Rat made a precise shot to the right of Andreas Hansen. FC Nordsjælland's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Andreas Hansen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from La Rat in the 27th minute of the match. In the 28th minute, Bengt Rosenbaum hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Alemannia Aachen booed when FC Nordsjælland was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aage Thegler didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 34th minute Thomas Müller shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andreas Hansen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Alemannia Aachen's La Rat in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Nordsjælland's goalie prevented a goal. Thomas Müller struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Andreas Hansen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alemannia Aachen. In the 38th minute, 鲁剑建 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aage Thegler made in the 41st minute of the game a quick throw-in and Andreas Schjelderup immediately put the ball in play. Mateusz Rydel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 46 played minutes Alemannia Aachen got a freekick which was hit by Frans Baltzer. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

FC Nordsjælland made a substitution. Mads Hansen replaced Andreas Schjelderup. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Thomas Müller made a kick off. La Rat took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Andreas Hansen. Andreas Hansen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. An unexpected shot in the 60th minute by Thomas Müller got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 60 minutes into the match, FC Nordsjælland's goalkeeper Andreas Hansen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by La Rat. After some careless play in the FC Nordsjælland defense, Mateusz Rydel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Andreas Hansen. The FC Nordsjælland fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Andreas Hansen should have stopped the shot. When the match clock showed 65 minutes, the score became 0-8 when La Rat sped through FC Nordsjælland's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Andreas Hansen. FC Nordsjælland's Andreas Hansen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by La Rat in the 69th minute of play. After 70 played minutes FC Nordsjælland got a freekick which was hit by Jeppe Tverskov. Thomas Müller took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Andreas Hansen. Andreas Hansen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-9. After 75 minutes of play, Alemannia Aachen's Mateusz Rydel made it 0-10 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Andreas Hansen was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 83rd play minute La Rat came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Andreas Hansen. 0-11. La Rat might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Andreas Hansen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. La Rat ran back to his position shaking his head. Andreas Hansen made an important save on a dangerous shot by La Rat in the 86th minute. Alemannia Aachen's La Rat got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. FC Nordsjælland's Andreas Hansen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save FC Nordsjælland from getting a goal against them. 93 minutes into the match, Alemannia Aachen's La Rat sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Andreas Hansen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 94 minutes into the game, Thomas Müller recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Andreas Hansen. Thomas Müller showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-12. In the 97th minute Thomas Müller shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andreas Hansen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Alemannia Aachen left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than FC Nordsjælland.
