Gwyn Lawson made a great header on Tigre's corner, it was just that Inter Miami CF's Jean-Philippe Al Abdullah managed to reach the ball for a save. Jean-Philippe Al Abdullah came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Tigre's Justo Lore. But to his dismay, Justo Lore quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Erasmo Lekubegi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Desiderio Lauaxeta having to interfere. With his leg Jean-Philippe Al Abdullah managed to avoid a goal in the 17thth minute, when Tigre's Sergio Cordareo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Desiderio Lauaxeta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erasmo Lekubegi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 19th minute Erasmo Lekubegi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Desiderio Lauaxeta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Justo Lores short, quick shot in the 20thth minute got Jean-Philippe Al Abdullah to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 22nd minute Tonico Tinoco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Desiderio Lauaxeta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Desiderio Lauaxeta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tonico Tinoco in the 26th minute of the match. In the 30th minute, Tonico Tinoco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Inter Miami CF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Inter Miami CF's Jean-Philippe Al Abdullah played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Justo Lore in the 33rd minute of play. After 36 minutes Tigre's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Justo Montrel who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Inter Miami CF's corner Justo Montrel fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Desiderio Lauaxeta quite easily take care of the ball. Desiderio Lauaxeta didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eriberto Miranda went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. 47 minutes into the game, Justo Montrel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Desiderio Lauaxeta was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tonico Tinoco to make the kick off. Desiderio Lauaxeta came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Inter Miami CF's Tonico Tinoco. But to his dismay, Tonico Tinoco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. In the 64th minute Sergio Cordareo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jean-Philippe Al Abdullah saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 67th minute, Javier Fridman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Román Riquelme got free with Desiderio Lauaxeta in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Desiderio Lauaxeta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Javier Fridman in the 72nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Justo Lore in the 73rd minute of play forced Inter Miami CF's goalkeeper Jean-Philippe Al Abdullah to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Desiderio Lauaxeta made an important save on a dangerous shot by Erasmo Lekubegi in the 74th minute. After 79 played minutes Tigre got a freekick which was hit by Guillermo Sal. Tigre made a substitution. Masao Koriotto replaced Sergio Cordareo. In the 83rd minute, Masao Koriotto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Desiderio Lauaxeta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Javier Fridman, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. 85 minutes into the match, Inter Miami CF's goal looked a bit too open when Justo Lore came free, but Jean-Philippe Al Abdullah reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 88 minutes into the match, Justo Montrel notched a goal, 1-5, to the right of Tigre's Desiderio Lauaxeta. Desiderio Lauaxeta was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jean-Philippe Al Abdullah didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Justo Lore went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-5 was the resulting score. Jean-Philippe Al Abdullah showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gwyn Lawson, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Tigre's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gwyn Lawson in the 97th minute. A nice corner shot did that Gwyn Lawson got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jean-Philippe Al Abdullah quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When the match had gone on for 98 minutes, Pedro Aparecido put it in 3-5 from a short distance just to the right of Jean-Philippe Al Abdullah. Inter Miami CF's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
