Nicolas Froila received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Torcato Modesto came out and tried to block the shot, but Nicolas Froila slotted it home off the left post making it 1-4 in the 85th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emanuel Cilio during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Club Atletico Lanus's defense didn't have a chance, in the 93rd minute, when Nicolas Froila scored to the left of an out of position Torcato Modesto, making the score, 1-5. The Club Atletico Lanus fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Celtic FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
