In the 19th minute of the match Club Atlético de Newell got a corner. Ocean´s Eleven's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Kasey Gobey ran over to the corner to take the kick. Elias Johnsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ollie Bright, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Elias Johnsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kasey Gobey in the 24th minute of the match. Kasey Gobey was shown his second yellow card after 31 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Kasey Gobey kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. In the 37th minute, Tommy Knight hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ollie Bright received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Elias Johnsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 45 played minutes, Club Atlético de Newell's Ben Powell shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Elias Johnsson came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Club Atlético de Newell reached it. If Ulrik Kristiansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joey Leighton stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52ndth minute of the game Joey Leighton who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ocean´s Eleven's Elias Johnsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lukas Askelöf recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thomas Nässén's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mike Scargill read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. Joey Leighton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Elias Johnsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ollie Bright sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mike Scargill came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Ocean´s Eleven's Ulrik Kristiansson. But to his dismay, Ulrik Kristiansson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 81st minute, Benji Kay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 82 played minutes Ocean´s Eleven got a freekick which was hit by Ulrik Kristiansson. 83 minutes into the match, Ocean´s Eleven's goal looked a bit too open when Joey Leighton came free, but Elias Johnsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ollie Bright during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 91st minute, Ollie Bright hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. There was no doubt that Ocean´s Eleven were the better team. Ocean´s Eleven's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
