Lincoln Beal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nils Mukengechay in the 7th minute. 10 minutes into the match, Thunder FC's Eusebio Aguirre sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Augustin Tschorn narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Thunder FC getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Alistair Metzger hit a great ball. In the 13th minute, Nils Mukengechay got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 15 minutes into the match, Thunder FC's goalkeeper Lincoln Beal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ismael Höfer. Lincoln Beal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bill Frick in the 19th minute of play. In the 22nd minute, Ismael Höfer left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FSV Straubing fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Nils Mukengechay might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lincoln Beal. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nils Mukengechay ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nils Mukengechay in the 26th minute of play forced Thunder FC's goalkeeper Lincoln Beal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Augustin Tschorn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eusebio Aguirre in the 35th minute of play. Thunder FC's Lincoln Beal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bill Frick in the 38th minute of play. FSV Straubing's Bill Frick got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Bill Frick kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Lincoln Beal. That made the score 3-0 in the 42 minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bill Frick to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nils Mukengechay in the 55th minute of play forced Thunder FC's goalkeeper Lincoln Beal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 59 minutes into the match, FSV Straubing's goal looked a bit too open when Drew Burrows came free, but Augustin Tschorn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bill Frick took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lincoln Beal. Lincoln Beal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Lincoln Beal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bill Frick in the 66th minute of play. Lincoln Beal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bill Frick, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 69th minute, Nils Mukengechay made a precise shot to the right of Lincoln Beal. Thunder FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bill Frick in the 72nd minute of play forced Thunder FC's goalkeeper Lincoln Beal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 76th minute, Alistair Metzger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Nils Mukengechay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 79 minutes into the match, Thunder FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bill Frick came free, but Lincoln Beal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eusebio Aguirre succeeded in the game's 82nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 6-1. 87 minutes into the match, Bill Frick notched a goal, 7-1, to the right of Thunder FC's Lincoln Beal. Lincoln Beal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ludwig Drechsler in the 98th minute of play forced Thunder FC's goalkeeper Lincoln Beal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
