Esa Hagelberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Jasavira Dhotre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Costin Babarada managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Vlahuță's supporters rose to their feet, but Costin Babarada was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jasavira Dhotre breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Claudiu Doinaș fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jasavira Dhotre having to interfere. When Costin Babarada came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the FC Vlahuță fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Costin Babarada couldn't finish the play. After having played for 15 minutes, Claudiu Doinaș managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Vlahuță's supporters crossed their fingers, but Claudiu Doinaș was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. FC Vlahuță's Mihai Rusu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karajala Takkar in the 18th minute of play. Jasavira Dhotre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Esa Hagelberg in the 20th minute of the match. After 20 played minutes Mangotsfield got a freekick which was hit by Anudara Bhutia. Augustin Tomozei blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jasavira Dhotre having to make a save. Mangotsfield's Jasavira Dhotre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Esa Hagelberg in the 24th minute of play. FC Vlahuță's Marcelo Trobbiani was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jasavira Dhotre in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. FC Vlahuță's Marcelo Trobbiani managed to work through Mangotsfield's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After having played for 44 minutes, Costin Babarada managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jai Rai helped the player get up and apologised. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Jasavira Dhotre didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Vlahuță. After having played for 94 minutes, Costin Babarada managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Vlahuță's supporters crossed their fingers, but Costin Babarada was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee ended the match the FC Vlahuță players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
