FC Ratisbona's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Sebastian van Hinten made an important save on a dangerous shot by Drew Burrows in the 16th minute. 18 minutes into the game, Hartwig Koch cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Lincoln Beal was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Percy Califf could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Sebastian van Hinten made a huge save. Joscha Heiermann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lincoln Beal having to interfere. Drew Burrows could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Sebastian van Hinten made a huge save. Sebastian van Hinten made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Percy Califf sent off a good shot on target. In the 41st minute, Percy Califf ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sebastian van Hinten was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joscha Heiermann in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lincoln Beal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hartwig Koch sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eusebio Aguirre made a kick off. Sebastian van Hinten took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Percy Califf, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC Ratisbona's Sebastian van Hinten played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Drew Burrows in the 56th minute of play. Sebastian van Hinten showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eusebio Aguirre, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. 59 minutes into the match, Thunder FC's Marcos Shultz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sebastian van Hinten narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a little luck, Thunder FC's Lincoln Beal got control of the ball when Joscha Heiermann tried to sneak it across the goal line. Joscha Heiermanns short, quick shot in the 70thth minute got Lincoln Beal to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 71 minutes of play, Thunder FC's Drew Burrows made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sebastian van Hinten was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sebastian van Hinten made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Blair Rose in the 74th minute of play. Sebastian van Hinten showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Percy Califf, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Drew Burrows in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sebastian van Hinten saved FC Ratisbona from getting behind. Sebastian van Hinten showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Drew Burrows in the 83rd minute of the match. After 83 minutes, Jörn Dost mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Ratisbona and the Thunder FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to FC Ratisbona getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Jörn Dost hit a great ball. Sebastian van Hinten made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Percy Califf in the 84th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Drew Burrows in the 86th minute of play forced FC Ratisbona's goalkeeper Sebastian van Hinten to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joscha Heiermann in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lincoln Beal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Thunder FC booed when FC Ratisbona was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hartwig Koch didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sebastian van Hinten took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Drew Burrows, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sebastian van Hinten didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Blair Rose went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Thunder FC had won after a very even match.
