After a rather tough play, FC Vlahuță's Alex Iorga got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Claudiu Doinaș sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Marcelo Trobbiani managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Vlahuță's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcelo Trobbiani was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Augustin Tschorn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Augustin Tschorn didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Esa Hagelberg went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Mihai Rusu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nils Mukengechay went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Augustin Tschorn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudiu Doinaș, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alex Iorga blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Augustin Tschorn having to make a save. Nichifor Vrejiu tried in the 26th minute to hit away a contribution but miss-kicked the ball which ended up in his own goal and left an unhappy Mihai Rusu a with quite unnecessary self made goal. Result 2-3. Augustin Tschorn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudiu Doinaș in the 32nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alex Iorga in the 33rd minute of play forced FSV Straubing's goalkeeper Augustin Tschorn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 35th minute, Alex Iorga made a precise shot to the right of Augustin Tschorn. FSV Straubing's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-4. FC Vlahuță were awarded a corner in the 43th minute after FSV Straubing's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Alex Iorga took the corner. If Esa Hagelberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bill Frick to strike the kick off in the second half. Esa Hagelberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Augustin Tschorn having to make a save. If Claudiu Doinaș had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ludwig Drechsler during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 58th minute, Ludwig Drechsler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 59th minute, Claudiu Doinaș left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Vlahuță fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-6. After having played for 65 minutes, Alex Iorga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Vlahuță's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alex Iorga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 67th minute, FSV Straubing's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Marcelo Trobbiani fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After 67 played minutes FSV Straubing got a freekick which was hit by Ismael Höfer. If Marcelo Trobbiani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Augustin Tschorn made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Esa Hagelberg sent off a good shot on target. Augustin Tschorn didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when FC Vlahuță's Claudiu Doinaș shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-7 in the ordered_time% minute. Alex Iorga was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 76th minute. FC Vlahuță's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. If Claudiu Doinaș had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bill Frick fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mihai Rusu having to interfere. 82 minutes into the match, FC Vlahuță's goal looked a bit too open when Bill Frick came free, but Mihai Rusu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of FSV Straubing booed when FC Vlahuță was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Esa Hagelberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Esa Hagelberg struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Augustin Tschorn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Vlahuță. In the 92nd minute, Bill Frick ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mihai Rusu was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-7. Bill Frick received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Mihai Rusu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, FSV Straubing's Fynn Bense got a free kick in the 96th minute. When the final whistle sounded FC Vlahuță left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than FSV Straubing.
