The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Válter Gomes during the 2nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 2 played minutes Coxa Doido got a freekick which was hit by Válter Gomes. Kléber Meireles hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Alfredinho Domingues made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nils Mukengechay in the 7th minute of play. Bill Frick fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredinho Domingues having to interfere. Nils Mukengechay might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alfredinho Domingues. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nils Mukengechay ran back to his position shaking his head. Nils Mukengechay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredinho Domingues having to interfere. Válter Gomes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bill Frick sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Coxa Doido's goalkeeper Alfredinho Domingues, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Válter Gomes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Augustin Tschorn made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Rodriguinho Castro sent off a good shot on target. After 34 played minutes FSV Straubing got a freekick which was hit by Ismael Höfer. In the 37th match minute, FSV Straubing was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jakob Baumung to maneuver through the defense. Gustavo de Carvalho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Coxa Doido's Rodriguinho Castro got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Válter Gomes in the 46th minute of play forced FSV Straubing's goalkeeper Augustin Tschorn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 47 minutes into the game, Ludwig Drechsler was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FSV Straubing's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Coxa Doido the free kick. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bill Frick stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, FSV Straubing's Ismael Höfer got a free kick in the 52nd minute. 57 minutes into the game, Rodriguinho Castro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Augustin Tschorn was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Alfredinho Domingues took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bill Frick, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rodriguinho Castro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ludwig Drechsler got his second yellow card in the match during the 66th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind FSV Straubing's goalkeeper Augustin Tschorn, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Harald Koschinski's late challenge caught a Coxa Doido's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Harald Koschinski helped the player get up and apologised. After 77 played minutes FSV Straubing got a freekick which was hit by Harald Koschinski. After a defensive mix-up in FSV Straubing's zone, Válter Gomes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Augustin Tschorn came out of the goal and Válter Gomes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rodriguinho Castro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Válter Gomes scored 2-0 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Augustin Tschorn, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 93 minutes, Telmo Reis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Coxa Doido and the FSV Straubing players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of FSV Straubing booed when Coxa Doido was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Telmo Reis didn't get a good kick on the ball. There was no doubt that Coxa Doido were the better team. Coxa Doido's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
