The FC Ratisbona fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sebastian van Hinten should have stopped the shot. Sebastian van Hinten showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edvaldo Prata, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Joscha Heiermann's late challenge caught a Coxa Doido's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joscha Heiermann helped the player get up and apologised. Joscha Heiermann kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Válter Gomes in the 11th minute of play forced FC Ratisbona's goalkeeper Sebastian van Hinten to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 12th minute Telmo Reis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastian van Hinten saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sebastian van Hinten showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodriguinho Castro in the 14th minute of the match. FC Ratisbona's attentive David Leibinger managed to snatch the ball when Kléber Meireles made a throw-in in the 21st minute of the game. Sebastian van Hinten came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Coxa Doido's Edvaldo Prata. But to his dismay, Edvaldo Prata quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. David Leibinger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredinho Domingues having to interfere. In the 39th minute, Edvaldo Prata ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sebastian van Hinten was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. FC Ratisbona's Joscha Heiermann was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 43rd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. If Hartwig Koch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 2-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Telmo Reis came free with the goalkeeper in the 52nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Sebastian van Hinten could save by the left post. Sebastian van Hinten showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Válter Gomes, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. A collision led to FC Ratisbona getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. David Leibinger hit a great ball. With a little luck, FC Ratisbona's Sebastian van Hinten got control of the ball when Rodriguinho Castro tried to sneak it across the goal line. FC Ratisbona's Sebastian van Hinten proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save FC Ratisbona from getting a goal against them. Hartwig Koch charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hartwig Koch the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 59 played minutes FC Ratisbona got a freekick which was hit by Hartwig Koch. Sebastian van Hinten made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Válter Gomes in the 61st minute of play. With a little luck, FC Ratisbona's Sebastian van Hinten got control of the ball when Telmo Reis tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by David Leibinger during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Joscha Heiermann scored 3-4 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alfredinho Domingues, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When FC Ratisbona's Joscha Heiermann in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Coxa Doido's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Coxa Doido's zone, Hartwig Koch stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfredinho Domingues came out of the goal and Hartwig Koch tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rodriguinho Castro got free with Sebastian van Hinten in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. FC Ratisbona's Sebastian van Hinten played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Válter Gomes in the 92nd minute of play. Telmo Reis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Sebastian van Hinten made a huge save. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Coxa Doido walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
