With his leg Augustin Tschorn managed to avoid a goal in the 4thth minute, when De Bruyne's Robert Lissens fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Roy Van Mellart sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Staf Sielis in the 8th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Augustin Tschorn kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 1-0 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. After a rather tough play, FSV Straubing's Ludwig Drechsler got a free kick in the 13th minute. The supporters of De Bruyne booed when FSV Straubing was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ludwig Drechsler didn't get a good kick on the ball. Robert Lissens succeeded in the game's 22nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-0. After a rather tough play, De Bruyne's Jose De Raeijmaeckers got a free kick in the 24th minute. Richmond Van Linthoudt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nils Mukengechay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 28th minute, Ludwig Drechsler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Staf Sielis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Augustin Tschorn having to interfere. Augustin Tschorn had great luck who in the 31stth minute grab hold of the ball when Staf Sielis from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. A collision led to FSV Straubing getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Ismael Höfer hit a great ball. In the 37th minute of the game, Harald Koschinski landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. The supporters of FSV Straubing booed when De Bruyne was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kristiaan Van Kelf didn't get a good kick on the ball. Robert Lissens took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Augustin Tschorn. Augustin Tschorn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. After 43 minutes, Fynn Bense mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FSV Straubing and the De Bruyne players grew even worse after the yellow card. Richmond Van Linthoudt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nils Mukengechay in the 47th minute of play. Nils Mukengechay scored 3-1 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Richmond Van Linthoudt, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

Robert Lissens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Robert Lissens blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Augustin Tschorn having to make a save. In the 62nd minute, Staf Sielis made a precise shot to the right of Augustin Tschorn. FSV Straubing's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. In the 64thth minute of the game Robert Lissens who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FSV Straubing's Augustin Tschorn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tibo Koens kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Augustin Tschorn stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Robert Lissens's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. The supporters of De Bruyne booed when FSV Straubing was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nils Mukengechay didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Robert Lissens in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Augustin Tschorn saved FSV Straubing from getting behind. In the 80th minute, Charlie Eekhout hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vicco Noll struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Richmond Van Linthoudt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FSV Straubing. Staf Sielis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Augustin Tschorn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Ludwig Drechsler was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 87 minutes had been played. After 88 played minutes FSV Straubing got a freekick which was hit by Ludwig Drechsler. Augustin Tschorn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Staf Sielis in the 93rd minute of play. Augustin Tschorn came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by De Bruyne's Robert Lissens. But to his dismay, Robert Lissens quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-1. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. De Bruyne had played much better football throughout.
