Gregory Christensen ran back to his position shaking his head. Thunder FC's Lincoln Beal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Thunder FC from getting a goal against them. Through an outstanding action, after 16 minutes, Lincoln Beal successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. But to his dismay, Drew Burrows quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Rodriguinho Castro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lincoln Beal having to interfere. Rodriguinho Castro took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lincoln Beal. Lincoln Beal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Alfredinho Domingues took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Percy Califf, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 33 minutes into the game, Thunder FC's Percy Califf nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alfredinho Domingues made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Válter Gomes in the 37th minute of play forced Thunder FC's goalkeeper Lincoln Beal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alfredinho Domingues showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Percy Califf in the 40th minute of the match. Gregory Christensen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Alfredinho Domingues tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gregory Christensen to make the kick off. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Percy Califf got free with Alfredinho Domingues in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Drew Burrows fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredinho Domingues having to interfere. In the 67th minute Gregory Christensen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredinho Domingues saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 70th minute, Rodriguinho Castro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Telmo Reis kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Lincoln Beal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodriguinho Castro in the 76th minute of the match. Lincoln Beal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 92 minutes into the match, Thunder FC's Percy Califf sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alfredinho Domingues narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alfredinho Domingues showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gregory Christensen, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute.
