The supporters of Thunder FC booed when De Bruyne was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robbin Van Hoeyvelt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Percy Califf struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Richmond Van Linthoudt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Thunder FC. In the 6th minute, Staf Sielis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lincoln Beal was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Lincoln Beal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Staf Sielis in the 9th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Roy Van Mellart in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lincoln Beal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, De Bruyne's Staf Sielis got a free kick in the 12th minute. Lincoln Beal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roy Van Mellart, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Ferdinand Barber's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Richmond Van Linthoudt was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. 23 minutes into the game, De Bruyne's Staf Sielis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lincoln Beal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Harry Fabry in the 26th minute of play forced Thunder FC's goalkeeper Lincoln Beal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Staf Sielis scored 0-3 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lincoln Beal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Staf Sielis in the 30th minute of play forced Thunder FC's goalkeeper Lincoln Beal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Roy Van Mellart recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lincoln Beal didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Robert Lissens went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. In the 39th minute Staf Sielis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lincoln Beal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lincoln Beal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robert Lissens, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. In the 42nd minute Staf Sielis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lincoln Beal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thunder FC's Lincoln Beal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Staf Sielis in the 43rd minute of play. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Robert Lissens was the one to do the kick off. De Bruyne were awarded a corner in the 53th minute after Thunder FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jose De Raeijmaeckers took the corner. De Bruyne's Jose De Raeijmaeckers was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Lincoln Beal in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Staf Sielis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lincoln Beal having to interfere. In the 61st minute, Robert Lissens ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lincoln Beal was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. In the 63rd minute, Staf Sielis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 66th minute of the match Blair Rose sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Richmond Van Linthoudt skillfully saved the ball. Alistair Metzger hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Lincoln Beal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Robert Lissens in the 73rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roy Van Mellart in the 74th minute of play forced Thunder FC's goalkeeper Lincoln Beal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lincoln Beal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Staf Sielis in the 75th minute of the match. 77 minutes into the match, Thunder FC's goalkeeper Lincoln Beal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Robert Lissens. In the 80th minute, Ferdinand Barber made a precise shot to the right of Richmond Van Linthoudt. De Bruyne's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-5. Lincoln Beal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Staf Sielis in the 84th minute of the match. 85 minutes into the match, Thunder FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tibo Koens came free, but Lincoln Beal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 88 minutes into the match, Thunder FC's Ferdinand Barber sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Richmond Van Linthoudt narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Drew Burrows had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 92 minutes into the game, Staf Sielis recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Lincoln Beal. Staf Sielis showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-6. Lincoln Beal didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Roy Van Mellart went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-7 was the resulting score. When the final whistle sounded De Bruyne left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Thunder FC.
