Ahmet Nedim Yarkın was slow to take the kick. During this time Not Today's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Not Today's corner Ahmet Nedim Yarkın fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Melchazadec Terron quite easily take care of the ball. Turgut Süngü hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Merih Bengi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Melchazadec Terron read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. Not Today were awarded a corner in the 28th minute after FC Internazionale's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ahmet Nedim Yarkın took the corner. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Matei Călin in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Güner Uludoğan saved Not Today from getting behind. Güner Uludoğan made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Bülent Erduran sent off a good shot on target. Merih Bengi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Melchazadec Terron read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. With a little luck, Not Today's Güner Uludoğan got control of the ball when Florin Crăciunaș tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Merih Bengi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Melchazadec Terron showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Merih Bengi in the 40th minute of the match. Not Today's Merih Bengi got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Merih Bengi struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Melchazadec Terron didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Not Today. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Matei Călin made the kick off in the second half. Güner Uludoğan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matei Călin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
