In the 21st minute Matei Călin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erivaldo Netto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 23 minutes into the match, Öllsjö FC's goalkeeper Erivaldo Netto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Florin Crăciunaș. 24 minutes into the match, Adriano Massa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Melchazadec Terron. FC Internazionale's Cornel Popovici was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Erivaldo Netto in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Cornel Popovici did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-1 to the left of a surprised Erivaldo Netto 34 minutes into the match. Adriano Massa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in FC Internazionale's zone, Adriano Massa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Melchazadec Terron came out of the goal and Adriano Massa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marian Michna recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Bülent Erduran in the 51st minute of play forced Öllsjö FC's goalkeeper Erivaldo Netto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Matei Călin in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Erivaldo Netto saved Öllsjö FC from getting behind. Erivaldo Netto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. FC Internazionale's Melchazadec Terron played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adriano Massa in the 93rd minute of play. In the 95th minute Moise Manciulea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erivaldo Netto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Matei Călin in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Erivaldo Netto saved Öllsjö FC from getting behind. There was no doubt that FC Internazionale were the better team. FC Internazionale's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
