The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 9 minutes into the match, Merih Bengi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ove Hake. Nils Liedholm IF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Merih Bengi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Ove Hake showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Merih Bengi, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Merih Bengi kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ove Hake. That made the score 3-0 in the 19 minute of play. Merih Bengi might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ove Hake. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Merih Bengi ran back to his position shaking his head. Ove Hake made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Merih Bengi in the 22nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Nils Liedholm IF's Östen Olsson got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Ove Hake stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Merih Bengi's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Merih Bengi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Not Today's supporters rose to their feet, but Merih Bengi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ove Hake breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ahmet Nedim Yarkın fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ove Hake having to interfere. In the 34th minute, Merih Bengi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ove Hake was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. When Semih Hazarbeyoğlu came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Not Today fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Semih Hazarbeyoğlu couldn't finish the play. In the 38th minute, Merih Bengi made a precise shot to the right of Ove Hake. Nils Liedholm IF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. The Not Today fans' excitement grew in the 43rd match minute when Not Today's Merih Bengi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 7-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jörgen Bjurström to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Not Today booed when Nils Liedholm IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Östen Olsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Merih Bengi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ove Hake was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. After some careless play in the Nils Liedholm IF defense, Wasyl Fetor kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ove Hake. The Nils Liedholm IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ove Hake should have stopped the shot. When the match had gone on for 82 minutes, Gilbert Reix put it in 11-0 from a short distance just to the right of Ove Hake. Gilbert Reix took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ove Hake. Ove Hake dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 12-0. In the 89th minute Gilbert Reix shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ove Hake saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilbert Reix in the 91st minute of play forced Nils Liedholm IF's goalkeeper Ove Hake to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ove Hake made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wasyl Fetor in the 91st minute of play. Wasyl Fetor scored 13-0 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ove Hake, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Not Today fans' excitement grew in the 96th match minute when Not Today's Wasyl Fetor looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 14-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Not Today had played much better football throughout.
