An unexpectedly hard shot by Elano Travassos in the 40th minute of play forced Romando Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Ademar Campidelis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Karaboudjan booed when Romando Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silas Paraíba didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Karaboudjan players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Romando Futebol Clube were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eugênio Tasso to make the kick off. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 64 minutes into the game, Alexandre Luz recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jefferson do Vale. Alexandre Luz showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Ademar Campidelis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eugênio Tasso in the 83rd minute of play. Ademar Campidelis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elano Travassos, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Alexandre Luz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Jefferson do Vale tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
