The audience was convinced that José Augusto Novaes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Murilo Paiva was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. Though ot was a great shot Curiphila Eagles's keeper Murilo Paiva was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Tadeu do Vale kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. The nice shot from José Augusto Novaes in the 45thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Murilo Paiva had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, José Augusto Novaes managed to get in a good position for a shot. ITAFUT 4EVER's supporters rose to their feet, but José Augusto Novaes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Murilo Paiva breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and José Augusto Novaes made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Horácio Montenegro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Beto Aparecido struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. In the 60thth minute of the game José Augusto Novaes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Curiphila Eagles's Murilo Paiva was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Murilo Paiva came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by ITAFUT 4EVER's Pedro Luiz Perez. But to his dismay, Pedro Luiz Perez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. ITAFUT 4EVER made a substitution. Wiliam Cardozo replaced Léo Velasco. After 68 played minutes Curiphila Eagles got a freekick which was hit by Horácio Montenegro. If José Augusto Novaes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 71 minutes into the match, Curiphila Eagles's goal looked a bit too open when José Augusto Novaes came free, but Murilo Paiva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. ITAFUT 4EVER's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sidney Lima was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
