In the 4th minute Kiko Mattos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabiano Porto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tadeu do Vale took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fabiano Porto. Fabiano Porto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Fabiano Porto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tadeu do Vale in the 14th minute of play. Miguel Bertassi might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Murilo Paiva. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Miguel Bertassi ran back to his position shaking his head. 18 minutes into the game, Austra 04 VFC's Miguel Bertassi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Murilo Paiva made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Murilo Paiva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miguel Bertassi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kit Vire's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 28thth minute, Murilo Paiva skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 33 minutes into the match, Curiphila Eagles's goal looked a bit too open when Kit Vire came free, but Murilo Paiva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Kit Vire had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Kit Vire who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 38thth minute tested the skills of Murilo Paiva when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Miguel Bertassi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Austra 04 VFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Miguel Bertassi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Murilo Paiva breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 44 minutes into the match, Naldo Costa notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Austra 04 VFC's Fabiano Porto. Fabiano Porto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kit Vire to strike the kick off in the second half. When the match clock showed 57 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Kit Vire sped through Curiphila Eagles's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Murilo Paiva. Murilo Paiva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kit Vire, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Kit Vire had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Austra 04 VFC's Miguel Bertassi got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Miguel Bertassi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Murilo Paiva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Austra 04 VFC's Fabiano Porto got control of the ball when Naldo Costa tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Miguel Bertassi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 92nd match minute, Austra 04 VFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Pancareken to maneuver through the defense. Curiphila Eagles played a much better game than Austra 04 VFC and deserved their victory. The Austra 04 VFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
