Curiphila Eagles's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adriano Luz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. In the 33rd minute Alexandre Luz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Murilo Paiva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 34 minutes into the game, Walmyr do Valle was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Curiphila Eagles's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Romando Futebol Clube the free kick. Adriano Luz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 45 minutes into the match, Curiphila Eagles's goal looked a bit too open when Alexandre Luz came free, but Murilo Paiva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eugênio Paranaense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Murilo Paiva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The wind increased when Naldo Costa made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Curiphila Eagles's goalkeeper Murilo Paiva had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eugênio Paranaense. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Alexandre Luz put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Murilo Paiva. Murilo Paiva didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Romando Futebol Clube's Alexandre Luz shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-5 in the ordered_time% minute. Ademar Campidelis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Naldo Costa's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. After 72 played minutes Curiphila Eagles got a freekick which was hit by Horácio Montenegro. Murilo Paiva stood somewhat misplaced when Alexandre Luz came free in front of goal and shot 0-7 to the left of him in the 74 minute. 80 minutes into the match, Curiphila Eagles's goalkeeper Murilo Paiva had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alexandre Luz. With his leg Murilo Paiva managed to avoid a goal in the 82ndth minute, when Romando Futebol Clube's Alexandre Luz fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Curiphila Eagles's Murilo Paiva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eugênio Paranaense in the 83rd minute of play. The supporters of Curiphila Eagles booed when Romando Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eugênio Paranaense didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alexandre Luz who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 90thth minute tested the skills of Murilo Paiva when he managed to save the team from getting behind.
