Víktor Mineiro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Antônio Carlos Valadares's late challenge caught a ALMA GUERREIRA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Antônio Carlos Valadares helped the player get up and apologised. After 20 minutes, Luiz Fabiano Dias mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Olivedos and the ALMA GUERREIRA players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 21 played minutes Olivedos got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Fabiano Dias. ALMA GUERREIRA's Vito Cearense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antônio Carlos Valadares in the 31st minute of play. Vito Cearense came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Olivedos's Albertinho Cavalcante. But to his dismay, Albertinho Cavalcante quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Edson Mendes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Olivedos's supporters rose to their feet, but Edson Mendes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vito Cearense breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Doni Senna in the 40th minute of play forced ALMA GUERREIRA's goalkeeper Vito Cearense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of ALMA GUERREIRA booed when Olivedos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antônio Carlos Valadares didn't get a good kick on the ball. José Madureira hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edson Mendes to strike the kick off in the second half. Edson Mendes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 50th minute of the match, but Vito Cearense made a huge save. Vito Cearense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edson Mendes, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edson Mendes in the 57th minute of play forced ALMA GUERREIRA's goalkeeper Vito Cearense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vito Cearense made an important save on a dangerous shot by Antônio Carlos Valadares in the 59th minute. Tiaguinho Paranaense hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Abel Reis hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Víktor Mineiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luizão Quirino in the 63rd minute of the match. In the 64th minute, Dráusio Valladares made a precise shot to the right of Víktor Mineiro. Olivedos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. In the 68th minute, Olivedos's Albertinho Cavalcante dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-3. Víktor Mineiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luizão Quirino, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Víktor Mineiro came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by ALMA GUERREIRA's Luizão Quirino. But to his dismay, Luizão Quirino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-3. Marco Prestes took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Víktor Mineiro. Víktor Mineiro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-3. A collision led to Olivedos getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Edson Mendes hit a great ball. In the 85th minute, Luizão Quirino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 87 minutes into the match, Olivedos's goal looked a bit too open when Marco Prestes came free, but Víktor Mineiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 89th minute, Tiaguinho Paranaense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Olivedos's Albertinho Cavalcante got a free kick in the 90th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luizão Quirino during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. ALMA GUERREIRA were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Olivedos for a fine match.
