Marcelo Medeiros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Osvaldo Negri in the 4th minute of play. Evaristo Meira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Décio Neto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Evaristo Meira struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Décio Neto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Figueira SC FSCMZ. Geovani Borges received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Décio Neto came out and tried to block the shot, but Geovani Borges slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 20th minute. Evaristo Meira's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 25thth minute, Décio Neto skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 27 played minutes Vista Alegre FC got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Trigo. 28 minutes into the match, Figueira SC FSCMZ's Renatinho Rodrigues broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Geovani Borges managed to get in a good position for a shot. Figueira SC FSCMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Geovani Borges was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Décio Neto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 32 minutes into the game, Evaristo Meira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Décio Neto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 35th minute, Evandro do Valle got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Renatinho Rodrigues in the 37th minute of play forced Vista Alegre FC's goalkeeper Décio Neto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 40th minute Geovani Borges shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Décio Neto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Figueira SC FSCMZ booed when Vista Alegre FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulo Renato Dracena didn't get a good kick on the ball. Danilo Marques charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Danilo Marques the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Evaristo Meira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Luiz Guilherme Paiva fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Figueira SC FSCMZ's protests and gave Luiz Guilherme Paiva a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Figueira SC FSCMZ getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Luiz Guilherme Paiva hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Vista Alegre FC defense, Geovani Borges kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Décio Neto. The Vista Alegre FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Décio Neto should have stopped the shot. Décio Neto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geovani Borges in the 80th minute of the match. Geovani Borges sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Décio Neto came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Figueira SC FSCMZ's Geovani Borges. But to his dismay, Geovani Borges quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Figueira SC FSCMZ had played much better football throughout.
