The 卡納里尼奧 FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that João Vítor Guimarães should have stopped the shot. After 15 played minutes Braga Junior FC got a freekick which was hit by Armando Zonta. When Emilio Lain came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Braga Junior FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emilio Lain couldn't finish the play. If Emilio Lain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Silvinho Veiga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elias Damasceno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Nicolas Marinho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Braga Junior FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Nicolas Marinho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. João Vítor Guimarães breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Braga Junior FC's Emilio Lain got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of 卡納里尼奧 FC booed when Braga Junior FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Armando Zonta didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 44 played minutes 卡納里尼奧 FC got a freekick which was hit by Elias Damasceno. João Vítor Guimarães showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emilio Lain in the 47th minute of the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Emilio Lain to make the kick off. The Braga Junior FC fans' excitement grew in the 51st match minute when Braga Junior FC's Emilio Lain looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Elias Damasceno helped the player get up and apologised. In the 62nd match minute, 卡納里尼奧 FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elias Damasceno to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emilio Lain in the 63rd minute of play forced 卡納里尼奧 FC's goalkeeper João Vítor Guimarães to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. During the 67th minute of the match Elias Damasceno completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Elias Damasceno a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to 卡納里尼奧 FC getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Elias Damasceno hit a great ball. Emilio Lain sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ferdinando Gallucci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Emilio Lain blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without João Vítor Guimarães having to make a save. In the 86th minute, Emilio Lain hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vítor da Costa made in the 88th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Rômulo Soares. In the 90th match minute, Braga Junior FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edison Brena to maneuver through the defense. Emilio Lain sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Braga Junior FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
